Ed Barrett is an expert in the design, development and delivery of executive education programs. He has been involved with such programs in approximately 30 countries and has worked with firms based in North America, Latin America, Western Europe, Asia and Africa. Dr. Barrett's clients have included Baker Hughes, Bank of America, ¬Exxon Mobil, General Electric, Goodyear, Maersk, Monsanto, TNK/BP and Unilever.
While now working in the consulting and executive education arenas, Dr. Barrett previously served as a regular faculty member at the Harvard Business School (Boston and Vevey), the Cox School of Business at SMU (Dallas) and the Thunderbird School of Global Management (Phoenix, Geneva and Sâo Paulo). He held three separate endowed chair positions – one each in Oil and Gas Management; Global Strategy; and International Policy and Control.
Dr. Barrett earned a B.S. Degree from Portland (Oregon) State University and both an MBA and a Ph.D. from Stanford University. His articles have appeared in a wide variety of prominent journals and he has served on three separate editorial boards.
