Dr. Toni Pristo is an expert in leadership and organization development, with special emphasis in the areas of executive assessment and coaching, team-based interventions designed to align leadership behavior, knowledge and skill with an organization's business strategy and culture and integrated talent management systems.
Dr. Pristo earned a BS in Psychology, magna cum laude, from John Carroll University. She also completed a MA in Psychology, awarded With Distinction, and a PhD in General Experimental Psychology from DePaul University in Chicago. She is a member of the Association for Psychological Science and served many years as a Board Member and Officer at Mental Health America of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois.
Toni founded Pristo Consulting in 1996 after 13 years of both internal and external consulting experience. Her most recent corporate role was Director of Organization and Management Development at Keebler Company. Prior to that, she spent nearly six years at Amoco Corporation as an Organization Effectiveness Consultant. She also spent four years at London House, a psychological testing firm, as Director of Employee Surveys.
As an external consultant, Toni worked for Hay Group's Research for Management Division in Chicago. As Principal at Pristo Consulting, Toni delivers work through her own firm and in collaboration with a variety of other small firms and sole proprietorships. Over the years, Dr. Pristo has consulted with many companies across a variety of industries including Honeywell, USA TODAY, SBC Communications, ANR Pipeline, Peoples Energy Corporation, GE, General Motors of Canada, RTC Industries, Arrow Uniform, Bank One Corporation (now JPM Chase), RR Donnelly & Sons, BP, Unilever, W.W. Grainger, McMaster-Carr Supply Company, Windsor Foods, Home Depot and various not-for profit institutions.
